Amazing display, very knowledgeable volunteers. Wish the RAAF knew I was coming because the big toys were left in the hanger. Will just have to go again!
Has a great variety of old war planes. Great for the younger kids. Army planes jet fighters fly by from the army base next door during the week.
Small but brilliantly curated and displayed collection of aircraft, each of which had an engaging story behind it. It was great to be able to get so close to the planes.
Great museum devoted to the Royal Australian Air Force. It is located within the grounds of RAAF Williamtown, Newcastle, NSW. Exhibits are magnificent and well looked after. There is a cafe, gift shop and a platform from where you can watch or spot civilian and military aircraft activity at Newcastle Airport. Staff is friendly and helpful. Fighterworld is a significant heritage centre and a must for visitors.
Awesome displays of fighter jets. With 2 cockpits you can sit in for a photo opportunity. Lots of displays of engine and weapons. A huge collection of hand made model planes. Nice observation deck to see the Airforce runway with the occasional spotting of fighter jets in action. Awesome
